Suddenly it’s not so hot. There’s a glorious cool breeze, a sweet smell of perfume in the air as you enter a mysterious, dimly lit venue.

That’s right – it’s your holiday night out. I particularly enjoy nights out during holiday as it’s when you can truly let go. You’ve spent the day swimming in the sea, exploring your surroundings and taking in the culture of your holiday host country. Now that it’s dark, the time has come for the surroundings to focus on you. It’s your show.

I adore evening-wear that packs a punch. That doesn’t mean loud and shouty; I have always believed in outfits that state rather than scream. Allow me to put a picture in front of you – the opulent Kaleidoscope dress in the images above is exactly what I’d pack for a holiday evening out.

Not at all revealing, yet very seductive, this dress is the answer to comfortable, elegant and sophisticated evening attire. A woman who wears a dress like this doesn’t need to repeat any word she says – all attention is on her, every move she makes is captured by every passerby. Memories are made by her just turning up in this piece. That’s what I call truly effortless chic.

When on holiday, you’re supposed to be on relaxation mode – let your wardrobe do all the hard work for you. After all, you are the one working hard to actually own this wardrobe all other days. It’s payback time, and boy, doesn’t it just taste so damn delicious.
