Now this shoot reminds me of the Wicker Man movie, though it probably makes you think about festivals and hippies. I love how these images were shot just a short walk from my home back in Lithuania. This is the lake where I learned to swim some seventeen years ago. It has become something of a puddle of mud now but it still holds a dear place in my heart. It’s where I love strolling in summer days.

On to the outfit. This Edun dress is amazing because of many reasons – one of them being that it comes with a cape. COME ON. That is cool. When the wind blows, the silk chiffon adds ultimate lightness and carelessness to the entire look. Yes, I know my dress is flying right into your face, that is the whole idea, you know. Besides, it is organic silk after all so there is no reason to complain – I am not forcing you to chew polyester.

Now that we have my obsession with fabrics, nostalgic memories and love of horror flicks out of the way, let’s talk about the floral crown. Or you know what, let’s not. It’s just a floral crown Agata made using grandma’s old synthetic flowers and a wire. Took her 3 minutes. That’s all there is to it.

  1. These are my most favourite pictures yet! ‘An angel’ is the first thing that comes to mind! The look in your eyes in the last picture is so honest, so vulnerable. Your hair and the flowers, the dress – it’s all perfect x x

  2. What lovely pics! Such a pretty floral crown! Funny enough, i just wrote a post about flowers including flower hair bands;)I can’t believe the floral crown was made in 3 mins!?!? Who is Agata by the way? She’s really good at making these i gotta say!

I like how your dress has a cape, very unique style:)and of course, great poses as always.
