I am slowly morphing into a hat person, not to be confused with a mad hatter. This pillbox shape hat is the perfect gift that one blogger can give to another – thank you Selina, you are a darling.

Meanwhile, I’d like to draw your attention to a new nail polish brand that approached me asking for a review. Fine, I told them, but be ready for some honesty. One of the reasons why I am not strictly a beauty blogger is that I scrutinise beauty products like no one’s business, a quality I have acquired from my mother. A beauty brand has to really impress for me to sing at least one note of a serenade about it.

So, here we go: Jacava’s products are definitely the do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti of nail polishes. They dry momentarily, the colours are pretty versatile. I wouldn’t mind having one of each – I see them all in my life, especially Candy Floss. It’s also good to know that they are made of the good stuff (as much as nail polishes can be) with the brand’s “the world’s first ‘8-free’ philosophy”. That’s no to DBP, camphor, formaldehyde, toluene, collophane, parabens, phthalates and animal ingredients. And yes, I obsesses about ingredients in all cosmetics. If you only knew my monthly shampoo bill for products without the bad chemicals. Seriously.

  2. Is this from vogue? If not, it definitely belongs in there. The first picture is by far my favourite fashion shot.absolutely LOVE the hat. the blue nails really pop and make for a striking addition to the look as well.

  3. Wow. Lady, I believe you’ve just ran away from your ancient setting? Shall I call thee a taxi to return or something? 😉
The hat. Just got me. You are classy beyond words. It’s simple and yet I believe you’ve made a lot of man stare at you, just because you are elegance in person here.
    Impressed much! x

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment on my recent polka dot blazer purchase .. I hope I can do something stylish with it 🙂

  6. MY GOD you’re pretty! How do you manage to look so good!!! Such a chic and classy outfit. Adore your style and totally love your hat! 🙂

  7. That nail color is really beautiful, and I love it with those rings. I love you in this hat, too. I wish I could pull off pill-boxes but I really need to let my hair grow in a bit first or else no matter what hat I wear will make me look like a monkey wearing a fez…. NOT very stylish.

  8. I cannot keep writing ‘flawless’ to all of your blog posts but that’s the first word which comes to mind. You look amazing!
