Porcupine Tree – Sentimental
Clothing can be expensive but disposable. It can also be cheap but irreplaceable. Sentiments can force people to go to great lengths restoring the used, the ugly and the broken. Strong feelings can also make people destroy, tear and burn the beautiful and the luxurious. The most prized possessions are always those which we can associate with a moment in time when we felt happiest, unstoppable and almost indestructible.
To me, that moment in time is buried deep in the 90s when anything, even a word taken out of context could inspire me and allow me to stay in the world I created. Of course, I had to carry my visions with me everywhere I went which is why a backpack was necessary – the 90s gave way for me to don one looking grungy and not at all ridiculous.
This is the carryall I have refused to part with since my early teens – it’s probably a relic in the eyes of fashion. But in my eyes it is a precise description of who I am, a completely incomprehensible statement to anyone other than I. Mixing it with Lynchan curtain red nails, shrunken knitwear which once belonged to my beloved and immodestly short cut offs just makes it all so insanely sentimental.
Thank you to FashionUnion for giving me a chance to try out Nail Rock.

Those great days spent in your own little world… I love it. You are so right. I’m sentimental about almost everything, but it doesn’t matter if it was cheap or expensive. Almost all of my clothes and jewels carry stories. And that makes them so great!
NBI – true that!! That’s what makes them absolutely priceless and no value can be put on them 🙂
I pity the fool who can’t feel sentimental, it is one of the deepest and beautiful feelings I’ve ever experienced 🙂
Oh wow, such lovely look :)! You look awesome 🙂

Meredith –
It was a very comfortable transitional look, the knitwear allowed me to keep warm while the cut offs still kept it playful and summery 🙂 Now, however London dictates more autumn-appropriate clothing 🙂
LOVE the carry-all! LOVE all the buttons and since it means so much to you – what a perfect accessory!
AND, I LOVE that you wore cute socks with your sandals – I LOVE IT!

Очень интересно и стильно составлен костюм современной девушки. Прекрасно подобранные, казалось бы совсем обычные вещи, создали оболденно озорной и модный образ, здорово!
