No. You are fine,
It’s just me who’s VICE VERSA.

(2006)

Fellow fashion bloggers – have you ever styled an outfit to fit a poem you’ve written as a teen? Well I just did.

Just in case you have no idea how to read the coded poem, try to do it vice versa – back to front, the same way I am wearing the shirt which belongs to le boyf who had no idea I’d fashionably violate it.

There is little that I have to add – the images say it all. Yohji’s coat is functional and warm while Belstaff’s boots are good enough to run in for a bus (which I did minutes before these images were taken).

The feminine touch that the red lips provide adds softness to the strict military overall feel of this outfit.  Mixing it all with wavy hair, Louis Vuitton’s Eclipse bag and super casual Twenty8Twelve jeans makes it a zero effort November look.

There’s nothing more to say.

What’s that on your tee, Edita? Hello Kitty’s bastard children? These two questions have been the source of 100 hours worth of laughter and the seed of this post. A song by Muse called Uprising was the water. Banksy’s tunnel has become the ground. The plant is in front of you. Do you see it blossom?

Oh and by the way – have you voted for pret-a-reporter at Cosmopolitan’s Blog Awards? It’s under the New Fashion Blog category. If you are a reader be it secretly or loudly and proudly do vote.

And one more thing. POW!

Edita wears | Bare Soul

Good Friday – the perfectly tranquil day. I woke up feeling that the time has come to put no product in my hair and minimal on my face (the sun was out so SPF was a must), as for over two years my head was covered in all sorts of cosmetics, a break was indeed necessary.

The warm background that Richmond Park was kind enough to offer in the photographs added the sense of playfulness, youthfulness (I was mistaken for a 15 year old minutes before the shots were taken) and this particular carelessness that appears every time the sun is out.

I was wearing a Twenty8Twelve jumper, Zara leather jacket, Republic cut offs, New Look brogues and my favourite Isis silver necklace.

(Images were taken by me & the boyf, he’s getting good.)

Being fanatical about Richmond, I did not waste an opportunity to show off the area to my visiting friend. Although October is slowly running towards the end, the weather was uncharacteristically warm – eating outside in sunglasses warm. Speaking of food, I could not let Blondie leave without nom nom noming on a true British meal – fish and chips. Duh.

I wore a pale yellow top by Ralph Lauren, vintage oversized blazer by Armani, jeans by Twenty8Twelve, ASOS sandals (which you might remember from the 70s), leather bag (brandless in fact – got it from a leather craftsman back in Lithuania), Gucci sunglasses, silver and turquoise jewellery that the boyf got me from Alexandria.

This was a day before we randomly bumped into Patti Dahlstrom on our way to Tower Bridge.

Alas, it seems as my favourite Blondie leaves the country, so it does the sunshine this cold Tuesday morning, and I already miss both.
