How can one wear white pumps without them looking like wedding shoes? It’s not complicated. Here’s my guide to help you nail this trend. One: don’t wear it with a wedding dress (unless you are actually getting married). Two: anything else goes if the sun’s out. Be aware that one false move and your white high heels aren’t white anymore. Unlike the good old Converse, they don’t look good dirty. In fact, they can look rather creepy in an 80s B-movie fashion faux pass kind of way. This means that you will just have to be a lady about it and avoid puddles of mud. If this request is not realistic – stick to your Hunters. Done.

Now let’s talk about Tessa Metcalfe’s new jewellery collection. It’s ridiculously good. It has this fine and frail feel to it but one can’t exactly call it fragile. The claw concept is genius. It causes immediate reactions ranging from oh how cool to have you been killing birds? Brilliant.

And finally, pastels. They just make this outfit very calm yet still elegant, the gold elements within the jewellery elevate this ensemble from blah-looking to bang on trend yet highly personalised.

  2. This reminds me so much of London, especially Notthing Hill, and I miss the city just by looking at your pictures! Love this outfit though, the heels are a must-have this year. Really need to get myself a pair of white heels!

  3. Claws are great – as proved here. They are like you say fragile, but edgy as well. Awesomeness level? Too much to handle.
But you probably guessed the fact that I like them.
I’d be the worst person for white shoes I guess. The amount of puddles here is way too high, and I tend to do stuff with shoes that makes them dirty (something with rain and beer, mostly). As usual you rock them.
But still I don’t get how you keep them clean…

    1. Just don’t wear ’em when the rain’s pouring! And probably they won’t do well for a walk in the park either 🙂
Other than that – I am sure you can rock them too, Astrid. You could rock literally ANYTHING.

  4. Wow, you look completely different from the girl on the last post. I love it though!

Those shoes are really cute… I hate it when people have those little outfit rules like “white shoes look like wedding shoes.” I want white heels, but I am afraid I will make them dirty in less than a day.

    xx
