There is something comforting in wearing a wrap. It’s almost as if you are in a motherly embrace; the one which used to keep you warm in the cold winter months. The ultimate comfort and safety zone which allowed you to sink carelessly into a deep and all-conquering slumber.
L for Lazarus, a brand which also gifted me the échapeau, has contributed to the practically impossible – giving a relaxed wrap the potential to look elegant and glamorous, if the wearer wishes to style it so. I have never seen comfy-cosy clothing that is chic, classic, sophisticated even. It’s almost like converting Uggs into Choos. While the former has been done with a level of greatness, worthy of a standing ovation, let’s hope the latter never happens.
UPDATE: L for Lazarus was very pleased with the post and your lovely comments, dear pret-a-reporter readers. This is why you all can help yourselves to a rather generous discount if you would like to purchase the wrap (it comes in other colours, too) or the échapeau. All you need to do is enter the voucher code at check out – pret-a-reporter, and enjoy 40% off any purchase, however big or small. Valid until 22.10.12.
