reasons I wanted to visit Bath was its famous Fashion Museum. I generally love visiting museums as I always feel like a keen kid who&#8217;s seconds away from learning something truly mind-blowing.<\/p>\n<p>The Fashion Museum in Bath did exactly that. It allowed me to be a child and design an outfit, play Victorian dress up and generally explore how fashion has changed throughout the centuries.<\/p>\n<p>I adored the ladies&#8217; gloves section as it looked truly eerie and haunting &#8211; all of these little hands seemed to come at you all at once, saying:<em> Look at me, look at my embroidery, look at my details.<\/em> They just kept being on my mind even as I left the museum.<\/p>\n<p>Equally, I couldn&#8217;t stop looking at some Georgian dresses that were brought from France for the elite to sport. Their width mesmerised me. Personal space was clearly a completely different concept to these social butterflies. I&#8217;d love to try one on to experience how does it feel to wear something that&#8217;s three times your own width.<\/p>\n<p>I had tons of fun designing a dress and so did Ahmed who even left his copyright sign on his creation. His piece complete with a Prada bag was just&#8230; Special. I opted for an understated red dress with a dramatic cape. I haven&#8217;t designed for a long while, so I was quite pleased that I managed to complete my sketch within a minute.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t finish my mini essay without mentioning how fun it was to dress up as a Victorian. Wearing a dress inspired by this mysterious era closely resembled weight training. The dresses Victorians wore weighed like 10 MacBooks draped around my shoulders and waist &#8211; and that&#8217;s without the underskirt.<\/p>\n<p>Should you go to the museum if you plan on visiting Bath? Yes.
