“I’m so tired of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play
For I’ve been a temptress too long
Just give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be a woman”

Portishead – Glory box

Almost every day I find myself opening a wardrobe and reaching out for a shirt.

Pretty normal, huh?

But it is not my wardrobe that I seem to be opening, and it’s not my shirts I keep on subconsciously wanting to wear – they are my boyfriend’s. In this post, the previous one, as well as in a ton of others I am wearing clothes that are his, not mine.

There’s something comforting about how oversized they are, how beautifully sewn and masculine they are supposed to look. But when I wear them, the latter point goes vice versa. Another reason to be a woman in this glory box.

  1. Now I imagine your boyfriend opening the wardrobe in the morning, reaching out for that one shirt…
…And it’s gone because you are wearing it 😀

But it looks good on you. I’m also a big fan of the hat. Hats should be full on fashion again!

  2. Your eye makeup is so unusual in this post and it really suits you! I love that you wear your boyfriends clothing – the options must be endless with two wardrobes at hand! haha 🙂
