Top & Mules: c/o Quiz Clothing; Bag: Pierre Cardin, Skirt: Boohoo, Glasses: c/o GlassesShop.com, Watch: Daniel Wellington, Bracelet: Thomas Sabo

I remember wearing similar eyeglasses when I was nine. As soon as I was thirteen or so, I looked back at these glasses with sheer horror – how could I wear THOSE? GlassesShop approached me saying, hey Edita, give a new pair of glasses online or prescription sunglasses a go. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to go back to my life as a nine year old and get these beautiful gold framed glasses. I ordered my specs along with my prescription, sat tight and waited for them to arrive.

My boyfriend opened the box and cracked up asking whether I got glasses for my grandma. This forced me to very theatrically put them on, proving him completely wrong. I looked dainty, elegant and delicate in them.

My outfit of course added to this ladylike appearance – and finally it’s not just about dresses . I can’t stop raving about this body top from Quiz Clothing. It fits beautifully and makes me feel as if I am wearing the most intricate piece of couture – hell, I am wearing it as I am typing up this blog post, I am glued to it.

Looking completely dainty is not what I am about. There had to be a twist. These metallic mules brought just that to the look, a bit of a trendy edge. Again, I used to wear mules all day everyday when I was nine. I didn’t mean for this look to end up extremely nostalgic. I am not sure I’ve ever grown up. I guess subconsciously and in my heart, I am still nine.
