I kept reading summer heat survival guides by a number of bloggers and publications. All of them talk about sunscreen, hats and the importance of denim shorts. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pair of cut-offs but in extreme heat, I simply can’t deal with actually feeling clothes on my body. The horrid stickiness, the sudden tightness and the seams that literally start stamping your sweaty, swollen skin the second you sit down. No, no. I will always choose the widest maxi dress out there and they don’t come much wider than this beauty from Zaful. I keep being pleasantly surprised by this brand, its mega low prices and really beautiful pieces. By the way, if you are considering to collaborate with or buy from a cheap retailer, you can read my review on cheap Chinese brands, why they can be good, and why they can be a disaster here. With Zaful, I’ve been mega lucky as the company has shown itself in the best of lights with fast delivery and truly epic dresses. It’s the second time I am collaborating with them and they truly nailed it both times. This allowed me to continue with my completely coloured looks, and this is the third part of the series, possibly the most artistic one. Some images above literally look like dramatic Renaissance paintings.

To add even more drama (you know how I roll – go big or go home) to this red and orange look I decided to wear gold jewellery. My favourite piece is definitely the delicate Thomas Sabo ring from the company’s Fairy Twines collection. I was honoured when this legendary jewellery brand offered to work with me especially because I’ve been obsessing over its bohemian range recently. Thomas Sabo has come such a long way ever since its original launch in 1984 – it now has a whole array of pieces from budget buys to insanely luxurious fine jewellery that I’d need to start saving up for now to be able to afford in 30 years time. Van Cleef, Tiffany, Boucheron – you’ve got company.

And finally, I thought I’d look rebellious as a red head, but I ended up looking like Mona Lisa’s best friend. I’ve never expected such a regal, Renaissance-like result from a can of red hair spray. I wonder what epiphanies the next can of hair spray will bring. If you have any colour requests, let me know.
